Food & Art were Tom Wolfe’s first loves - he attended The Parson School of Art in NYC in 1990, after which he studied at the French Culinary Institute. His artistry was awakened by his studies and he began to fuse his two passions to create the concept of Food Art. In New York Tom was heavily influenced by the Latin street food of the large Cuban and Puerto Rican communities. He went on to train with top chefs around the world - at Raffles Hotel in Singapore, The Peninsula in Hong Kong, in Tokyo, and finally with Christian Fouchet at the Ecole Gregoire Ferrandi in Paris. Tom moved to London and started Blue Food, allowing him to bring his unique vision of Food and Art to his clients. Tom´s imagination and mastery of the avant garde and of cuisines from around the world soon meant that he had a diverse personal following, from artisans to celebrities to fashion designers such as Stella McCartney and Vivienne Westwood. His work with these people brought new inspiration to his ideas and his cooking. Tom often works in New York, Moscow and Kiev so he is also inspired by global trends and clients. Recently Tom has been collaborating with raw food chef Jeni Cook to add another new dynamic to his vision of food.
